This week’s challenge at Cooking With Cricut is all about baking. I have one project for you and Bianca has one for you (which will be posted really soon, it’s really hard to snap a picture i the pie keeps jumping around).
I used the Baked Pies cutting file by Page-kits.com. I cut out the “tin” portion twice one in grey cardstock and then one more time in silver vellum, which tear when I embossed it, but it was a nice surprise, because I love how the grey cardstock peeks through. The flakes on the top are some mica pieces that I have had for at least 8 years (and using for the first time… LOL!!!) I saw this sentiment in one of the new Scrappy Moms sets and loved it, of course mine is stamped w/ two different alpha stamps. I have this set in my WISH LIST, but let’s say that wish list is HUGE!!!!!!!!
NOTE: Before I forget this is a shape card, but I have to say that I need to re-design this card cut, because it is too ‘flimsy’ for the weight of the card. It needs more than one welding point for it to hold better.
supplies: Baked pies cutting files from Page-kits.com; Mica flakes; Sizzix Embossing Folder from CropStop.com; Chalk inks; cardstock.
